The Seed of a Dream

My name is Calvin, an ordinary person with an extraordinary dream. From a young age, I have loved movies and traveling, especially American superhero films—they make my heart race and constantly inspire me to imagine: if one day I could become the one who protects the world, how amazing would that be?

Inspiration at Universal Studios

During my first trip to the U.S. I headed straight to Universal Studios without hesitation. There, staff dressed as heroes from the movies. Although I knew they weren't the actors themselves, the realism and presence they embodied stirred something deep inside me. After talking with them, I learned this was called Cosplay—bringing characters to life through costumes and performance. At that moment, I was completely captivated.

The First Disappointment

After returning from the trip, I immediately bought my first Deadpool cosplay costume. But when I stood in front of the mirror wearing it, I felt disappointed—the details were rough, the materials ordinary, and the fearless hero I admired on screen did not appear before my eyes.

Making the Dream a Reality

I didn't know how to make costumes myself, but I was determined. So I gathered a few like-minded friends, researched, and carefully crafted a 1:1 highly accurate Deadpool costume—the details, materials, and craftsmanship were so perfect that my heart raced with excitement.

However, this costume was made according to Dead pool's proportions, and I couldn't actually wear it myself.

The Birth of UnibuyPlus

Holding the costume and feeling every inch of the fabric, a thought struck me: I may not be able to become the hero on screen, but I can help others wear the costume of their dreams.

I shared this idea with my friends, and we immediately agreed—we didn't just want to make costumes, we wanted to build a brand that allows more people to own high-quality, highly accurate character costumes and become the heroes in their hearts.

And so, in 2020, UnibuyPlus was born.
